While interest rates are in that “acceptable zone” and sellers have experienced a slow market since October 2005, now is as good a time to buy as we have seen for some time.

All parties can benefit from these tips: Educate yourself. Have your real estate professional: review the most recent sales, review what is active on the market including the history of how long they’ve been on the market and the price changes over that period. Professionals will take into consideration when evaluating comparables, similar size, location, views and condition. Offers should be accompanied by a realistic good faith deposit and in writing on a Florida Association of Realtor approved form. Evaluate incentives to see what is actually more beneficial to your needs. Choose either lower price or a seller’s contribution towards closing costs. Perhaps a cash incentive at closing that could help pay for moving expenses, repairs, replacements, new appliances, or furniture.
